Twin Rivers is dedicated to teaching quality instruction, superior training and safe horsemanship. Our large riding facility is designed to educate students in both hunter/jumper riding techniques and stable management from novice to advanced. We are committed to providing excellence in all aspects of our equestrian centre with professional and friendly staff and will also provide a safe, fun and caring environment to nurture every horse lover!
Twin Rivers Riding Academy
After completing the introduction lessons, students can choose between monthly group lesson packages or monthly private lesson packages. Monthly packages are offered at a discounted rate, but for those who find it hard to commit each week, we also offer single group or single private lessons. These packages will be billed and are due at the beginning of every month. Practice rides are available but must be scheduled in advance. These rides are not directly supervised, thus Twin Rivers reserves the right to approve or deny a practice ride based on the level of the rider.
Twin Rivers requires 24 hour notice to cancel a lesson. Twin Rivers will not refund fees for any missed lessons. When 24 hour notice is not given, the student forfeits the right to make up that lesson. When 24 hour notice is given, the lesson can be made up. The student will have 7 days to make up the lesson.
School Horses

New Students/Beginner Rider
New students are asked to take one introduction lesson to best determine the right program. Beginner riders must be able to properly groom and tack-up their horse safely before they can advance past this level. This normally takes 2 to 4 lessons until a student can properly groom and tack up a horse.
Proper Attire
A proper riding helmet, boots with a walking heel (one inch minimum) and long pants are required for all riding lessons. Helmets can be supplied by Twin Rivers but students looking to continue riding are encouraged to purchase their own.
